Guthrie runners-up at District UIL academic meet in Jayton

Last week, Guthrie finished 2nd only to Jayton at the District UIL Academic meet, advancing a number of students as Regional qualifiers. In the 2024 UIL Academic district results, for individual results were as follows: In Computer Science, Brett Hardin placed 3rd (Regional Qualifier), and Natalie McWhirter placed 6th.

Solar eclipse means big money to Texas
