Logan Taylor ~ Valedictorian

Logan is the son of Sabra and Timothy Martinez and Scott Taylor.

After graduating, he plans to attend South Plains College for two years, then transfer to Texas Tech to obtain a degree in wildlife management.

He was involved in football: 2014 2nd team all-region punter, 1st team All-District quarterback, 1st team All District punter, Bi-District qualifier 2016; Golf: regional qualifier, 2016; BPA: Parliamentary Procedure state qualifier 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017; national qualifier, national runner-up 2016; FFA Homesite Evaluation state, national qualifier 2014; Land Judging state qualifier 2015; NHS vice president, 2016-2017.

“In 10 years, I see myself as a hardworking, successful and happy, college graduate. Hopefully, I will have a full-time, well-paying job with a wife by my side.”

He will miss the sports, and other programs that allowed him to grow as a person. “My fondest memory of high school is all of the school trips I was able to be a part of with some of my closest friends.”

If he had five million dollars, he would donate some to charity, spend some, and repay all of those who have helped him in some way. Also, he would buy his mother whatever she wanted.

Bailey Nicole Lambert ~ Salutatorian

Bailey is the daughter of Kirby and Denise Lambert.

Her plans after high school involve attending South Plains College, then transferring to Tech to major in physical therapy.

During school, she was involved in volleyball, basketball, track, cheerleading, UIL, State Champions Cheer 2017, All-District Honorable Mention in basketball, All-District in volleyball.

Where does she see herself in 10 years? “I see myself working in a hospital as a physical therapist.”

The thing she’ll miss most about high school is her friends and teachers.

What would she do with 5 million dollars? “Give and go shopping!”
