Claudia María Villaseñor releases ‘Tu salud está en tus manos’
New book serves as practical health guide to nutrition, natural health
AUSTIN, Texas — After finishing her studies in holistic nutrition and visiting Mexico often, Claudia María Villaseñor realized that Mexicans and Latinos in general were facing major health issues and their children have the largest obese population in the world. Villaseñor decided to try to change the fate of these children, which are developing adult diseases in their childhood by educating parents so that they would feed children with less sugar and chemicals and more nutrition. It inspired her to write “Tu salud está en tus manos” (published by Balboa Press).
A Spanish written book catering to Spanish speaking people, this is a practical health guide to nutrition and natural health. It is a means to inform readers about the little changes they can make in their everyday habits to improve and/or recover their health.
“My book is easy to read. It is for the average person, not the health freak like me,” Villaseñor says. “It helps people with bad habits acquire better habits. It is funny and entertaining, not too technical which is what drives people away from reading about this subject.”
Villaseñor hopes this book will revolutionize the way people live and make major life changes, recover and improve their health for them to live longer and happier. She believes that keeping a healthy and lean body is easy when one knows what the body requires to stay healthy and lean.
