Briscoe County youth compete at Tri State Fair
Briscoe County youth have had a great start to the Tri State Fair this weekend in Amarillo.
Tally Patton received Grand Champion Lamb overall. Tally also received 1st in class 14 Medium Wool, 2nd in class 16, 2nd in class 18, and that lamb was reserve division champion of the heavy weight division. Her 1st place class 15 Medium Wool lamb also was Champion Medium Wool weight division, and selected Grand Champion of the show.
In the Heifer Show Tasha Schlueter received 1st place with her Charolais heifer, and 7th place ORB heifer. Trinity Schlueter received 6th place ORB heifer.
In the Lamb Show, Tasha also had Reserve Breed Champion Southdown and placed 4th and 7th place with her Medium wool. Trinity received 3rd place Southdown and 5th and 11th place Medium wool. Tucker Schlueter received 9th place Fine Wool Cross and 4th place Southdown. Tristan Schlueter placed 10th with his Fine Wool Cross. Maddie Francis placed 5th with her Fine Wool, 8th with her Southdown, and 10th with her Medium Wool. Brenna Francis placed 6th with her Fine Wool Cross and 12th with her Medium Wool. Makenlee Lemons had two 7th place Medium Wool and a 9th place Medium Wool.
