Valley Student of the Month: Kylie Brown

Valley Student of the Month:
Kylie Brown

Soft spoken, easy going, friendly, hard working, and compassionate are words that truly describe the student of the month at Valley School.  September’s student of the month greets everyone she encounters with a sweet smile and kind words. The student of the month is Kylie De Brown, an eighteen-year old senior at Valley High School. Kylie is the ideal role model for students of all ages. She exemplifies what young people should strive to be like.

Kylie is the daughter of Brent and DeLane Brown of Turkey. She is the granddaughter of Gelene and Doyle Proctor also of Turkey and Benny Brown of Amarillo.

Kylie is an extremely busy young lady. Her extracurricular activities include: cheerleading, cross country, track, basketball, student council, class officer, FFA chapter president, National Honor Society, and UIL math. In school academics, she ranks at the top of her class.

During the summer and on weekends, Kylie is often found helping her dad with the ranching. She also enjoys reading and hanging out with family and friends.

In the fall of 2018, Kylie will be attending Texas Tech University. She hopes to major in agricultural economics followed by a degree in accounting.

Valley School is proud to call Kylie Brown a “Patriot.”
