In the regular monthly meeting of the Briscoe County commissions on Dec. 13, 2021, Judge Wayne Nance informed the court that the county bond fund has a balance of $1,729.46 and asked if this could be used toward the purchase of a new flagpole for the courthouse grounds then close the account since no further funds will be added to it. Nance said he would look further into this.
