Ronny Flowers, who quarterbacked the Guthrie football team to the 1964 Regional championship, has been selected for induction into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Flowers is being inducted in a Special Category at the August 28, 2021 ceremony in Waco. He was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
