When Bill and Janinne Brooks of Briscoe County first enrolled their kids in 4-H in the 1980s, their goal was just to raise good kids. They never planned to raise award-winning extension leaders. But that is exactly what they did.
Josh Brooks and Molly Brooks Forman grew up in Silverton as a 4-H family. Not only were they members of the county 4-H club, but their parents were also adult volunteers.
