On Saturday, October 16, nine members of the Canyonland Archeological Society from Cottle, Motley and Briscoe counties toured the ruins and petroglyphs of Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument, located in the Canadian River Valley close to the Lake Meredith National Recreational Area.
