The Silverton and Quitaque Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a semi-truck fire on Saturday, Oct. 25, along the highway between the two towns.The call came in for a truck on fire on State Highway 86 east of Silverton. Upon responders’ arrival, a semitruck pulling an empty cattle trailer was on fire. The driver was outside of the vehicle and reported no injuries....
