Big awards were made last week to the City of Matador in the form of three grants.The first is part of the recovery from tornado damage and is for a landfill contract which was awarded to Brush Auto for the amount of $458,000. That work will begin on Feb. 24, 2025.The second is for $475,000 to work on water lines in the south part of time. The beginning date is not yet set....
