CHIEF SAYS TO GO FOR PROTECTIVE GEAR
The Texas A&M Forest Service announced the results of a second of three funding meetings of fiscal year 2024 for the Rural Volunteer Fire Department Assistance Program, awarding 74 grants totaling approximately $1.3 million.The Matador Volunteer Fire Department was awarded $20,000 to use for protective gear.According to Matador Fire Chief Lee Jones the grant will be used to buy “mostly…
