A fast-moving fire broke out around 1 p.m. Sunday along the west side of U.S. 70 near Muncy, burning more than 400 acres and jumping the highway before being contained by eight local units around 6:30 that evening. According to Lockney Volunteer Fire Department chief Donnie McLaughlin, five units from Lockney were sent out, and joined by seven other departments from Floydada and others nearby…
