After decades of being served by local merchants for food, household items, hardware, and a variety of other goods, the county-seat town of Matador has now added not one but two national chains to its options.
Dollar General recently opened its store at 1302 Bailey Ave., on the west side of town, only a few weeks after Family Dollar/Dollar Tree opened on the east side.
