    The best place to cut a rug in Paducah, Texas, for the past three-quarters of a century has been the wooden dance floor at the Veterans’ Memorial Building.

    Located to the northeast of the Cottle County Courthouse square and built in 1946, this VFW hall is a contributing property to the Cottle County Courthouse Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
