AREA-BOUND The Silverton Owls (9-2) pulled off the upset of the No. 7 Amherst Bulldogs Friday night, 52-34, at Buffaloes Stadium in Petersburg. The Owls will face the Balmorhea Bears Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. in Borden County for the Area championship.
