Salty-savory recipes are usually what I’m drawn to, but the occasional sweet confection is hard to resist at times. Especially when the occasion calls for it.
For St. Patrick’s Day, corned beef and cabbage are a staple. But of course, any of Ireland’s notorious potato dishes are famous too. And a good Irish soda bread is particularly popular to make for the holiday.
