West Texas cotton crop does well this harvest season

    Although some planted late in 2021, many area cotton growers are expecting a good harvest this year. Red Ball Gin owner Keane Cruz also planned to begin ginning in Roaring Springs just last week. “We did have some that planted late and some planted early. Both look pretty good,” said Cruz. “The later stuff didn’t get quite as much heat as the early planters.?...
