CHILDRESS— Texas Department of Transportation crews continue hauling material to the site of a sinkhole located on FM 1038 in Cottle County between County Roads 485 and 489. As of Thursday, Oct. 2, rental equipment was being secured to assist with the placement of materials, with filling expected to begin by midweek next week.
