Library fundraiser set for Friday, Aug. 27 in Matador

    The Motley County Friends of the Library “Rootin’ Tootin’ Beans and Cornbread” lunch and fundraiser has been set for Friday, Aug. 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Library Annex in downtown Matador.

    Due to Covid-19 restrictions the event had to be cancelled last year, but it’s back on this year.

    The menu will be beans, cornbread, smoked sausage, trimmings, cobbler and iced tea. Donations will …
