On Monday, March 21, the board of trustees for the Motley County Independent School District named Kurt Koepke as the sole finalist for the position of superintendent. Koepke is currently serving as principal in Hartley schools. Hartley is in the Panhandle between Dalhart and Dumas.
Hartley ISD has an enrollment of 245 students and Motley County’s enrollment is 162.
