Silverton’s Mayfields rack up track medals at college, high school events

The West Texas State Buffalo track team, coached by Silverton native Bobby Kitchens, piled up 104 points to far outdistance Wayland Baptist (59), Lubbock Christian (16) and Eastern New Mexico (10) in their invitational meet last week.
A sophomore from Silverton, Dayne Mayfield, established a new WT school record.…
