NEW GUTHRIE COACH, TEACHER Zack Ryan will be teaching social studies and serving as head boys basketball coach at Guthrie. He grew up in Paducah, where his mother taught history and his father was the head basketball coach and principal. He received his degree from Lubbock Christian University and started his teaching career in Roswell, N.M., in 2007.
