MUSEUM DONATION Gary Stone (left), board member of Motley County Museum, accepted a framed copy of Historic Cattle Trails from Mike Peacock of Midlothian, Virginia, in memory of Peacock’s parents Bill and Lea Peacock of Roaring Springs. The map designates Matador as part of the Potter Bacon Trail and a cutoff of the Jim Stimson Trail to Fort Sumner on the Goodnight Trail in New Mexico.This map is now hanging in the Cowboy Room, one of 17 exhibition rooms in the museum. | COURTESY PHOTOS
