    Silverton elementary vocalist vied for Vegas

    Laiken Brock, an 8-year-old attending Silverton Elementary School, recently rose to the top echelon of candidates to sing the national anthem this December at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
