Dianne Dell (Scott) Washington of Flomot, Texas, passed away on December 2, 2024, surrounded by her family. A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Quitaque Methodist Church in Quitaque, Texas.

Dianne was born on December 31, 1944 in Stamford, Texas, to John A. and Minnie Jo (Vinson) Scott. She married the love of her life, Seab R. Washington, on December 23, 1970, and together they raised their son, Todd Washington, creating a happy and loving home for more than 52 years.

Dianne graduated from Patton Springs High School in Afton, Texas, and later went on to graduate from West Texas University in 1987.

Dianne was a very active member of the Quitaque Methodist Church. She also served on several boards and committees in the surrounding area. She was a dedicated EMT for several years, and enjoyed being able to help so many others. Dianne was truly an amazing woman who was committed to the Lord, her family, her friends and her community. She loved to travel and was always planning her next trip, but was always happy to return home.

Dianne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Seab R. Washington; her parents, John A. and Jo Scott; and her brother, Joe Mike Scott.

She is survived by her son, Todd, and wife, Karen Washington, of Flomot; four grand-children, Katie and husband David Doan of Canyon, Texas, Cameron and wife Jennifer Washington of Memphis, Texas, Clay and wife Lauren Washington of Childress, Texas, and Conner Washington and Katie Ragsdale of Glenn, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, Kaisley, Karidee, Emily, Kineree, Vivian, Kraiden, Bentley and Deacon; her brother, Johnny Scott and wife, Shirley, of Lubbock; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends, all of whom loved her dearly.
