The Guthrie Lady Jags have earned a postseason spot out of District 8-A going into next week’s Texas high school girls’ basketball playoffs.
Coach Doug Hunt’s team finished with a 5-5 district record. Valley, the state’s top-ranked 1A team, finished undefeated at 10-0 with Spur alone in second place with an 8-2 record.
