The Motley County Matadors competed in the Class 1A District tennis meet Monday, Apr. 21. Several competitors are advancing to the Region 1 meet on May 7-10 at South Plains College in Levelland.
The following are regional qualifiers: Karmelo Guzman and Elizabeth Morales took 2nd place in the mixed doubles bracket; Aaron Cates took 2nd place in the boys singles bracket.
