Francis named Athlete of the Meet, caps off strong track performance in Austin

    With two gold medals and a silver, the lone qualifying athlete from a 195-enrollment school on the Texas High Plains singlehandedly finished in fourth place in her team standings and earned the 1A Girls Athlete of the Meet at last weekend’s UIL State Championship Track & Field Meet in Austin.
