The Motley County Matadors defeated the Roby Lions early with a 52-6 mercy victory at home on Friday, Sept. 5.
Senior Paul Johannes dominated the Matador offense, rushing for 181 yards and scoring four touchdowns. Sophomore Culley Lawrence rushed for 149 yards and scored three of his own touchdowns before turning around and leading the defense with nine of the 20 total team tackles.
