TOO FAST FOR SHOES Micah Ferrel showed his dedication at the Clarendon Lake Greenbelt Run cross country meet on Tuesday, Sept. 16, when he was forced to kick off his shoe and run in a sock rather than stopping to tie his laces, resulting in a second-place medal.
The Valley Patriots travelled to Clarendon on Tuesday, Sept. 16 to compete in the Lake Greenbelt Run cross country meet.The Patriots competed well and showed their grit— especially sophomore Micah Ferrel, who was faced with a decision during the race to stop and tie his shoelaces or kick off the shoe and keep his secondplace medal.
