Paducah’s legacy MooreThriftway prepared to close its doors for good. Tim Moore, owner of the Thriftway, who has owned and managed the store for 34 years with his wife, Erica, and other family members, was ready to retire. The Moores posted For Sale ads and signs, and launched a liquidation sale.
