    In Cottle County, (unofficial) election returns were compiled Tuesday night by county clerk Vickey Wederski, and in the contested Republican primary election for county judge to succeed the retiring Karl Holloway, Steven Beck has won one of the tightest races in the state, with 198 total votes to Daniel Mercer’s 196.
