SILVERTON— services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, February 26, 2022, in the First Baptist Church of Silverton. Burial will follow in Silverton Cemetery. A viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday, February 26, 2022. The family will be present from noon until service time. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Cindy was born on September 28, 1961, in Floydada. She grew up in Silverton and graduated from Silverton High School in 1980. She had worked for DARS, a division of Rehabilitation Services for the state of Texas, for over 20 years. She married Johnny Lindsey on June 9, 2018.

Cindy loved to attend chili cookoff competitions to taste the chili, she loved her Mustang, she loved the beach at the Gulf and deep-sea fishing, she loved Sundays when she would cook up a feast for the day and rest of the week, but most importantly she loved her grandkids, who called her “Meme.”

Cindy is survived by her husband, Johnny Lindsey of Universal City, Texas; her dad, Roy Stidham of Peralta, New Mexico; three daughters, Amanda Blasingame and husband J.R. of Vega, Texas, Ashton Duggan and husband James of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Kaytlin Wills and husband Jake of Amarillo, Texas; two sons, Justin Johnson and wife Megan of Canyon, Texas, and Justin Lindsey and wife Tessa of Vega, Texas; two brothers, Terry Green and wife Lorraine of Bosque Farms, New Mexico, and Mark Green of Waxahachie, Texas; one sister, Misty Griego and husband Louis of Amarillo, Texas; her eleven grandchildren, Shelby Garrison, Harley Garrison, Austin Blasingame, Emory Blasingame, Levi Johnson, Jace Duggan, Lincoln Duggan, Jett Lindsey, Paislee Lindsey, Jaxon Wills and Cohen Wills; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
