Erika Rena Fullingim,

38, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Petersburg, Texas.

Visitation was held from 12 noon until service time on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Petersburg, Texas.

Erika was born December 29, 1985 in Lubbock, Texas, to Jimmy Coke and Melisa Fullingim. She graduated from Petersburg High School and South Plains College. Erika was active in many different sports and clubs throughout high school. She enjoyed researching family history, loved to hunt, fish, play golf and watch Texas Tech basketball.

In a selfish act of love, Erika chose to be an organ donor and help give life to those in need. Even in her passing she will continue to give life and share her love with everyone through her precious gift.

She is survived by her parents, Coke and Melisa Fullingim of Petersburg; one brother, Trey Coke Fullingim, and wife, Nichelle, of Lubbock; one sister, Caci Jo Fullingim of Lubbock; and her partner, Scott Read of Roaring Springs, Texas, his two children, Crystal Drake and husband, Logan, of Camp Verde, Arizona, and Jade Yarbrough and husband, Polk, of Stratford, Oklahoma, and his four grandchildren, Ryleigh, Reagan, Reese and Rawley.

The family suggests memorials to the Petersburg FFA.
