Eudean Crow, age 95, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Beehive Homes in Floydada.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2024 at the Silverton Cemetery in Silverton. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home.

Eudean was born on December 19, 1928 in Silverton, Texas. She lived most of her life in an area located east of Silverton known as Haylake. She went to school at Haylake and enjoyed talking about her life in this area. Eudean married Virgil Crow on July 6, 1946. They continued to live east of Silverton, where they farmed. They had two children, Gary and Phyllis. Eudean and Virgil moved to Silverton in 1991.

She enjoyed numerous activities such as raising flowers, gardening, sewing, quilting, traveling and playing dominos. Her main enjoyment was visiting with family and friends. Eudean would often say, “I’ve had a long life, a good life and a happy life.” She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil, son Gary, sisters Willie Mae, Iva, Lina and Sybil, and brothers Edwin and Glenn.

Eudean is survived by a daughter, Phyllis, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. She will be missed by many. Those who knew her knew she was a character.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Silverton Fire Department, the Cogdell Clinic, or the Silverton Cemetery.
