Glennard Dale Daniell, 85, of Roaring Springs, Texas, passed away on Tuesday July 9, 2024 in Duncan, Oklahoma. Glennard was born on July 27, 1938, in Roaring Springs, Texas.
Glennard met and married Edith C. Gillentine in May of 1956. They were married for 62 years. Glennard worked as a truck driver for many years. When he was not driving, he enjoyed working with wood, playing outside in his yard, watching classic westerns such as “The Rifleman,” “Wyatt Earp,” “Gunsmoke,” and many others.
Glennard is survived by his children, Karen Lamar, Dale Daniell, Eugene Daniell and Les Daniell, and a host of grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Glennard is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Edith, and his siblings Willie Dean, Billie Ruth Clark, Janet Fischer and Leslie Eugene.
Graveside services will be held on Monday July 15, 2024 at Roaring Spring Cemetery under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
