The Motley County Matadors, ranked number one in the state and undefeated for the year, hosted the Patton Springs Rangers (1–6) Thursday night in Matador for a district faceoff. The home team provided a resounding rebuke of the Rangers, 66–0.
The Matadors jumped out to huge lead early. At the 3:00 mark of the 1st quarter, Motley County had already put up 35 points while holding the Rangers at 0.
