Guthrie, Paducah boys’ basketball teams chase Jayton, seeding in 5-1A playoff picture

The Guthrie Jaguars surprised the Spur Bulldogs 59–46 Friday night, and dropped the Bulldogs out of the seeding, for now, for the playoffs.
As of press time, the three teams who are poised for the playoffs by being #1, #2 and #3 in the District 5-1A standings are Jayton, Guthrie and Paducah.
The Paducah Dragons stayed in the playoff picture by defeating Motley County 65–23 Friday night.
