The Caprock Public Library in Quitaque hosted area 2nd graders last week, providing the perfect laboratory for STEM projects today. Students built and tested tinfoil boats, engineered bridges as a team project that would hold 100 pennies, and designed structures from toothpicks and marshmallows that would withstand a simulated earthquake.
