Matadors open district play 1-0
The Motley County Matadors traveled to Hedley Thursday night, Oct. 23 where they faced the Owls in their district football opener.
Holding tight to their 1A D2 #8 spot, the Matadors shut the Owls out 64-0 for the first district win of the year.
Paul Johannes led the offense as usual, rushing for 170 of the teams 265 total yards, scoring four touchdowns.
