WINSTREAK The Motley County Matadors varsity boys basketball team is on a three-game win streak and getting poised for a playoff run. Last week they defeated the Spur Bulldogs with a buzzer-beater, 43-41, onTuesday night and then prevailed over the Guthrie Jaguars 42-38 Jan. 30. This week, on Friday night, Feb. 6, they were to face the district leading and ranked #12-in-the-state Valley Patriots. On Tuesday, Jan. 27, the Motley County Matadors varsity boys basketball team trailed Spur 41-40, but the Matadors had the ball with 5 seconds left.
