Briscoe commission appoints new JP at July meeting

Body In the regular July meeting of the Briscoe County Commissioners Court on July 8, the Caprock Public Library gave a presentation requesting an additional $500 to be donated each year by the county.

Motley County Friends of the Library to host Annual Beans and Cornbread lunch

Body The Motley County Friends of the Library will host their Annual Rootin’ Tootin’ Beans and Cornbread Lunch Friday, August 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the library annex. Beans and Cornbread and all the fixins’, Smoked Sausage, Cobbler, and iced Tea will be served.
