Body Mrs. Janice Hughes had a medical appointment in Lubbock on Tuesday. She visited her son, Bengie Hughes, before returning home. Visiting Janice Sunday was son Ricky Hughes of Floydada. Donnie Rogers attended to business in Hollis, Oklahoma, this weekend.

Body Reese Cruse has been named this year's Bob Wills Day Queen. Reese is a junior at Valley ISD, where she is a star student, athlete and community member. She plans to attend Wayland Baptist Universtiy and pursue a degree in education.
