Body In today’s Caprock Courier, Paducah ISD is publishing a request for proposals for contractors to renovate two residences for the school district. According to Gary Waitman, superintendent of the district, PISD purchased these houses to “recruit and retain high quality teachers.

Foothills Saturday Night sets fundraiser in Matador June 4

Body Foothills Saturday Night, Matador’s annual music celebration, will be having a fundraiser Saturday, June 4 starting at 6:30 p.m.at the Hotel Matador. The fundraiser will feature a Reverse Raffle, and tickets are $100. Each ticket admits two people to the Reverse Raffle.

Body This spring, residents of Guthrie, seat of King County, saw a welcome sight out their front doors: service trucks of Cap Rock Telephone Co-operative, digging trenches and laying more miles of fiber optic cable for digital com munications access.

Valley wins State track championship

Body The Valley Patriots are Class 1A state track and field champions once again. Valley scored 51 points on Saturday to win the team championship by one point over second-place Cross Plains — marking the program’s first team title since going back-to-back in 2017 and 2018.
