Calling all milo poppers. I know you’re out there. But with no milo poppers’ Facebook group, it’s like we don’t exist. Somebody please create that page. Having already ignited a milo fire in the microwave (more about that later), I’m ready for tips and recipes from savvy poppers. I’m a newbie.

SILVERTON ISD HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES Thursday, Sept. 2 is Western Day. At 7:45 p.m. Snake to Bonfire at 7:45 p.m. behind PE gym. Friday is Owl Pride Day, and Homecoming festivities start at 6:45 p.m., kick-off at 7:30 p.m. After the game is Movie/Game Night (sponsored by the Student Council).

September 4, 1925—Quitaque and Silverton unite to put over big county exhibit . . . Yesterday afternoon Briscoe County’s first bale of cotton for this season was brought in to the Silverton Gin Co. to be ginned.
