Body The Motley County Sheriff’s Office will be auctioning several properties on Tuesday, May 6 at 10 a.m. The auction will take place at the south door of the Motley County courthouse in downtown Matador.

Singin’ in the rain: 53rd Bob Wills Day swings along swimmingly despite weather

Body When the Bob Wills crowd pulled out of Turkey on Sunday, their RVs left ruts. It was a muddy few days.But the stormy weather didn’t keep die-hard fans of the King of Western Swing from having a good time in Turkey, despite cancellation of the Saturday morning parade.
