Senate unanimously passes budget plan

Body The Senate on Tuesday approved its version of the 2026-2027 budget on a vote of 31-0, proposing to spend $153.5 billion in state revenue and $336 billion when including federal funds.

Body In last week’s UIL 1A District 8 Academic Contest held March 26 on their home campus, Paducah students finished with 131 total points in 4th place.Spur ISD claimed the top spot in overall school sweepstakes, with 500 points.Guthrie finished 2nd with 318.
