Body GUTHRIE, MOTLEY COUNTY, VALLEY COMPETE IN RANGE OF EVENTSThe UIL 1A State Track and Field Meet took place on May 16 at Mike. A Myers Stadium at the University of Texas, with 1A schools alternating with 6A to wrap up the last day of the three-day event.

Body Turkey-Quitaque ISD has officially found the next leader for its historic girls’ basketball program. The district announced this week that veteran coach Casey Botos has been hired as the new Head Basketball Coach for the Valley Lady Patriots.

Body Guthrie’s Hallie Irons was the regional champion in the 1600m run last week at the regional track meet at South Plains College in Levelland. She is a State qualifier, and this is a personal record for Hallie in the mile, knocking off 24 seconds for a time of 5:29.

Body These Guthrie Lady Jags qualified for the State track meet at the regional track and field meet at South Plains College in Levelland. The regional champions 4x400M relay team of Madi Adams, Hallie Irons, Mattie Masterson and Jewel Johnson achieved a personal record of 4:14.
