Body There is a new toy at our house: a 3D printer. Kim and Kevin have unrolled the basics for us, but it is a complicated bit of learning for us old folks. We are at the stage of printing well into the morning hours.

Body For Valley (Turkey-Quitaque ISD) school board, two at-large positions will be on the ballot, those held by Chris Tucker and Kirk Saul; Saul is not running for reelection. These are three-term trustee terms.

Body There will be a contested race for Turkey city council.Three two-year positions are on the ballot, all at-large. Four candidates have filed: incumbents Tina Carson, Rodney Corgill and Jose Valdez, and challenger Joe Wayne Fuston. Two candidates returned questionnaires.

Body The Paducah ISD school board election was cancelled, as incumbents for two at-large, three-year terms Jeff Richardson and LeRoy Rodriguez were unopposed.Paducah city council members Richard Gregory and Chris King are not running for reelection.

Body For the Guthrie Common SchoolDistrictboard of trustees, three at-large positions for three-year terms will be on the ballot; incumbents are Wendy Masterson, Casey Green and Laura Moorehouse. A write-in candidate, Taylor Kirksey, also filed, and GCSD will hold an election.

Body The Cottle-King Old Settlers Reunion and Rodeo was a hit this last weekend, despite the cold, rainy weather. From the Parade to the Rodeo, visitors of all ages were treated to a great performance.
