Briscoe Co. Boosters car show winners announced

Body The Briscoe County Boosters have announced the winners of the 2021 Car Show. Jerry Miller of Silverton won the truck division with a 1972 Chevrolet Super Cheyenne. Lynn Smith won the car division with a 1968 Ford Mustang.

‘Meet the Owls and Lady Owls’ set for Aug. 24

Body Silverton ISD has set Meet the Owls and Lady Owls for Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. All junior high and high school athletes and cheerleaders will be announced. Booster Club sign up will be that evening as well as a Booster Club meeting.

Motley Co. ISD sets Meet the Teacher for Aug. 12

Body Motley County Independent School District has scheduled Meet The Teacher for Thursday, Aug. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. The ISD asks for parents or guardians to feel free to bring their student’s school supplies when they come.
