In December of 2019, ol’ Rambler turned 82...I can hardly believe I’ve made it this far. Inside, I feel half that age, except for the steady accumulation of aches and pains in knees, feet and hands and the non–wash-and-wear skin (stays wrinkled no matter what I do).

Matadors maul Jaguars 84-12

The high-scoring, undefeated Motley County Matadors defeated Guthrie 84–12 last week in a districtopening win at Jack Huey Field. Nothing in Friday night’s game changed Motley County’s status as the number one rated 1A, Division II team in the state.

The number one team in the state in D1 six-man high school football lived up to their billing once more as the Motley County Matadors lassoed the Petersburg Buffaloes 72–0, bringing their season record to 6–0. A trio of seniors set the pace for Friday night’s win.
